Ziggurat Brands, the brand and design consultancy, has been working with a number of its clients to create their press advertisements.

In every case - Munchy Seeds, Lumi Paper and most recently, the Bottlegreen Drinks Co, the press campaign relates directly to the brand identity that Ziggurat designed for packaging as part of a consistent marketing strategy The campaigns - which will appear in trade and consumer publications - demonstrate the strength and value of a strong branding proposition that works through-the-line and engages at every touch point

This summer a new advertising campaign launches for bottlegreen - for which Ziggurat Brands repositioned the packaging for its adult cordials and presses, and created a brand identity for a new range of 'Junior' cordials.

The stylish and contemporary creative mirrors the brand's newly designed adult cordials packaging.

It will consist of a double page spread advert depicting the new packaging on one side of the page, with an imprint of the picture on the other page.

The strapline will then trail on "bottlegreen...leaves an impression".

Commenting on the rationale behind the creative concept, Kate Shaw, Creative Director at Ziggurat Brands, said: "We wanted to convey the craft and care that bottlegreen take in producing their cordials and presses.

"The delicate elderflower is cut away in an embossing die, mirroring the design as it appears on the bottle, with minimal copy the result is simple and precise".

Premium women's titles such as Delicious, Easy Living and Fresh will be targeted with the new advertising campaign, which will be scheduled to run in July and August as well as November and December issues.

Ziggurat's press campaigns for Munchy Seeds and Lumi Paper have relied entirely on the branding presence for their consumer recognition.

The Lumi Paper trade press campaign breaks in Print Week, Print and Paper Monthly, and Creative Review this month.

Munchy Seeds, which introduced new packaging in autumn 2007 featuring iconic hands painted as peckish birds, has seen sales increase, supported by trade and consumer advertisements to underpin the brand.

Kellie Chapple, Ziggurat's managing director, said: "A branding strategy should be able to perform in a variety of media and different sales and consumer environments.

"We are delighted that the branding created for these clients translates with ease into advertisements.

"It is not our intention to become an advertising agency, but as a brand design consultancy this demonstrates that we understand the power of the brand and can create versatile branding that works in a variety of media.

"It gives clients confidence to know that their brand identity has been considered for a variety of applications that range from direct sales in store to work in a broader environment such as press and electronic media".
