ABC has confirmed the monthly release dates for 2007 Group Product Reports that include ABC and ABC Electronic audited data for both print and website editions of national newspapers.
The player has been developed so it is as close to watching TV as possible, including a newly introduced Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) and Channel Manager.
The EPG allows people to plan what they want to watch all from the Zattoo player, cancelling the need to refer to channel listings in a newspaper or website.
It's a useful feature as it also includes content summaries and further information about each show.
The Channel Manager offers users the chance to control their channel list and hide channels that they're not interested in.
"Changing channels on Zattoo is as easy as using a remote control and the introduction of our EPG and Channel Manager has made it an even more complete IPTV experience", Illes continued.
Zattoo was founded in the US in 2005 and successfully launched in Switzerland the following year.
Since then, the virtual television network has expanded into eight European countries and will also be available in the US later this year.
In this short period of time, Zattoo has attracted over 1.8 million users and is growing at a rapid pace.
What is Zattoo? Zattoo is a legal new TV distribution service transmitting the world's most popular channels in unprecedented quality onto users' computers.
Zattoo is free and works without additional hardware.
Users download the software, the Zattoo player, from the company website and can watch free TV on their computers in minutes.
Other than broadcasters' own online simulcast offering, Zattoo operates like a channel aggregator, allowing users to switch between different channels in one player installed on their laptop.
The Zattoo player is available for all current operating systems (Windows XP and Vista, Mac OS X, and Linux).
Zattoo has offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and Zurich, Switzerland.
