Yudu Smartcat keeps e-catalogues up-to-date

Yudu Media has launched Yudu Smartcat - an e-catalogue management system that is said to offer retailers a fast and accurate way of keeping digital catalogues up-to-date.

Yudu Smartcat links product codes, descriptions and prices in real time, ensuring that e-commerce sites and online catalogues are fully integrated and display the same data at all times.

The system also allows catalogue marketers a variety of product ordering options.

These include direct transfer to the e-commerce website when clicking on e-catalogue product codes and images; a digital order form, which can be completed and e-mailed to the retailer from inside the catalogue; and a shopping cart, which integrates with the retailer's e-commerce website at checkout stage.

In addition, Yudu Smartcat's intelligent management system enables marketers to display different prices to different customers, which is said to be of particular benefit for price promotions and discount codes.
