Yomego, DA Group's entertainment and advertising media division, is to create nine branded websites to support user generated content, content sharing and social networking for CSC Media Group.

CSC Media Group is a leading independent digital satellite and cable broadcaster, operating 13 music, movie and children's channels in the UK including The Chart Show, Bliss, The Vault, True Movies and the Pop! group of channels Yomego will build interactive communities around the channels using its entertainment platform

The platform, which includes the ability to host user-generated content, will be closely tailored to each of CSC's TV channel brands, their target audiences and include CSC's own produced content and community functions.

It will allow users to share content, create their own social networks, and to find current and new friends based on their music tastes and favourite songs.

Mike Antliff, Yomego CEO, said: "Brands are increasingly aware of the need to create compelling, fun and engaging experiences online - this project will allow brands to maintain a consistency of contact with their audiences whether it be via a TV channel or online.

"It showcases how our entertainment platform can be configured and branded to meet a wide range of highly targeted audiences.

"We're delighted to be helping CSC Media Group to engage with their viewers in new and stimulating ways and to create a unique space for their advertisers".

Remy Minute, COO, CSC Media Group commented: "We chose to work with Yomego because of its distinction of having a unique - and proven - entertainment platform for user-generated content and community building.

"Its adaptability and 'pick and mix' functionality also means we can add our own content, community tools and tailor the platform to fit with our individual channels.

"Interacting with our audience is crucial and the new websites will give us and our advertisers the ability to connect with our consumers in the right tone and voice and across all digital devices.

"With Yomego on board, we're sure that this project will be a big success".

The first website, designed specifically for viewers of the Pop! TV channels, will be delivered in September.

All nine sites are due to be completed by the end of the year.
