Infogroup hosts TFMandA social media mash-up

Infogroup/UK is teaming up with Technology for Marketing and Advertising (TFMandA) to host a 'social media mash-up'.

TFMandA takes place at London's Earls Court 2 on 23-24 February 2010.

The social media mash-up will bring together everyone that is digitally talking about the event into one virtual environment.

The idea behind the social media mash-up is to provide a central platform where people can meet up, interact and engage with the TFMandA event and the online conversations taking place.

With thousands of interactions expected across social networks, the Infogroup TFMandA website will pull in event-related feeds and content from the likes of Twitter and Flickr to capture and share the buzz of the event.

As a result, even people not attending the event or following on Twitter can find out what is happening and join in.

The TFMandA and Infogroup team will also be live blogging, uploading photos and video interviews, posting competition prizes, including netbooks and laptops, and streaming updates from exhibitors, speakers and seminars.

Infogroup is also sponsoring a live social media mash-up lounge at the exhibition, where people at the event can meet up and network in person.
