Wyboston completes conference centre renovation

Wyboston Lakes has announced that the third stage of renovations at its Robinson Executive Conference Centre has been completed.

The completion of phase three of the refurbishment programme, which included upgrading 120 bedrooms and restyling the conference room decor, signals the final phase of a GBP1.5m renovation.

38 of the new executive bedrooms feature beds that can be zipped into twin bedded facilities, responding to the changing demands of the conference and training market working to tight budgets.

The Robinson Executive Conference Centre is also able to accommodate large groups, pushing the total capacity of the bedrooms at the centre up to 158 delegates.

Additional enhancements to the bedrooms include larger workspace areas, free wireless high-speed broadband internet access, and laptop safes.

Other upgrades at Wyboston Lakes include a redesign of 101 bedrooms at the Waterfront Conference Centre, and the construction of new tee boxes on the 1st and 10th holes and the creation of a large bunker in the area surrounding the 18th green of its onsite golf course.
