Wyboston Lakes, nestling on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, has added to its coveted credentials by scooping the award for best website at the CiB Communic8 Awards 2008.

The accolade recognises the skills and talents of communication professionals in the Anglia region whose creativity, tenacity and commitment to clear and open communication helps to bring an organisation to life for its people and clients.

Wyboston Lakes, one of the UK's leading conference centres, has become increasingly conscious of the use of the web by event planners and delegates and has invested heavily in the site.

Offering online availability of both meeting space and overnight accommodation bookings, the site is complimented by sophisticated usage of Outlook diary management, which automatically updates guests' electronic diaries with dates and details of special events held in the on-site Waterfront Brasserie.

The website receives over 600 hits each day.

In addition, Wyboston Lakes also received an Award of Excellence for its "Relax, Dine and Stay" brochure, which has helped to increase incremental revenues at the centre.

Clive Bache, sales and marketing director, commented: "We are delighted; it's a great honour for us to be recognised in this way by the CiB Anglia region.

"This award demonstrates the hard work put in by every single individual in our team, working together to deliver the highest level of service to our clients".
