Affiliate specialist targets large corporates
Affiliate marketing solutions provider Webgains has unveiled its strategic plans for growth and extended its focus to large corporate organisations and agencies.
Webgains has appointed Melanie Hewitt to the new role of Head of Corporate Sales to drive the new strategy.
She brings to Webgains over 12 years of media sales expertise as well as strong management skills developed as Agency Sales and Supplement Manager for The Times newspaper, where she managed key accounts such as the LVMH Group, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Unilever.
Hewitt will be part of the management team and will apply her sales expertise to drive the UK's corporate sales strategy.
Webgains Managing Director, Robert Glasgow, said: "Having Melanie on board is the first step in implementing additional muscle to the Webgains growth strategy, extending the focus to large corporate organisations and agencies.
"We believe that our combination of personalised customer service and pragmatic tools will add much value to how agencies perceive and manage affiliate campaigns".
Hewitt said: "This is really an exciting opportunity to help grow the Webgains network - with our current reach into six countries and more on the way, Webgains now has a solid platform with which to service large and pan-European clients".
