The Katana light boxes with aluminium snap frames and neutral T5 fluorescent tubes were created for John Lewis' flagship store in Oxford Street.
The lighting effect and adaptability of the light boxes were perfect for John Lewis' requirements.
"The lighting effect from the Katana ultra-slim light box have been much preferred to cold cathode and LED alternatives where the light was found to be too cold", said Adam Vanovitch, managing director of WandCo.
"The adaptability of the light boxes was important as they needed to be fitted to showcases and merchandising displays".
For the Glasgow store, John Lewis chose the company's tall, slim light boxes for retail showcases, and the square thin illuminated displays for retail merchandising units.
Due to their versatility and contemporary design, the Katana light boxes continue to make an impact.
"John Lewis are the first major retail outlet to draw upon the new flat-profile option for the Katana light box, giving the units that quintessentially stylish and contemporary feel", said Vanovitch.
WandCo Design Solutions have also supplied matching poster frames for John Lewis in Oxford Street.
This year the company is planning to supply elegant light boxes to more John Lewis stores including the one in Leicester.
