British International Motor Show
appoints WPN
Brand response specialist Watson Phillips Norman has been appointed by IMIE, organiser of the award-winning British International Motor Show, to create the TV advertising for this year's event.
The British International Motor Show sponsored by Zurich Connect, returns to ExCeL London from 23 July - 3 August 2008 The event features a range of attractions: The Heritage Enclosure, Autoglym Supercar Paddock, Westfield Active Drift Experience, Kids Driving Activities, Landrover's Ultimate Experience and stunning on-water displays are just some of the treats on offer and the entertainment continues as the sun goes down with The Motor Show Music Festival presenting: UB40, Alice Cooper, Status Quo, Squeeze, Deep Purple, Here and Now 80s Tour, Chicago, Jools Holland, Blondie and Meat Loaf with special guests

WPN was appointed to produce the new TV campaign following a pitch process.
The new commercial will break on 9 June to run across 50 terrestrial, satellite and digital channels, and will also run in the weeks before and during the event.
The ad features many of the leading marques on show and highlights many of the attractions.
To give the ad more stand out, WPN commissioned Louis Mellis, actor, writer and voice behind the Guinness Surfers campaign, to provide the voiceover.
