Ring2 appoints Vialuna for DM to online task

Audio-conferencing specialist Ring2 has appointed Vialuna to conduct a marketing campaign using direct mail, personalised URLs and its Dialog Engine technology.

The campaign is designed to demonstrate Ring2's service in a fun and interactive way.

Vialuna will distribute a traditional direct mail piece featuring a personalised URL (PURL) as a response mechanism.

Respondents will be taken to their own microsite where Vialuna's Dialog Engine gathers information and generates real-time sales leads for the Ring2 sales team.

The campaign will run over six weeks mailing to 1,000 IT, telecoms and operations managers in five main sectors professional, banking, PR, marketing and retail.

Natasha Wright, Marketing Manager for Ring2, commented: "Ring2 first collaborated with Vialuna to sell its audio-conferencing technology but throughout the process we became interested by the response rates that Vialuna's DM approach achieves and ended up hiring them".

The opportunities dialogue marketing provides for information gathering and building rapport with cold contacts is genuinely exciting.
