Video is now integrated into Vignette Content Management, allowing video assets to use the same authorisation and security model, share advanced metadata and participate in the same workflow and publishing model as other web content.

"Organisations regardless of industry are recognising the potential of online video to reach new audiences and drive business," said Sharon Ballard, senior analyst at Yankee Group.
"By integrating video with their traditional content management solution, Vignette is giving organisations the unique ability to handle all their content from one interface, making the site easier to maintain and update.
"This can have a trickle-down effect resulting in better advertising placements, increased user engagement and lower IT costs".

"Vignette's video products deliver these capabilities on top of a scalable and reliable enterprise-class web experience platform".
