The UK Gift Card and Voucher Association (UKGCVA) will hold its annual conference at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 21 April 2010, in partnership with Prepay Solutions.

The event will showcase all the major players in the UK gift voucher and gift card industry, worth more than GBP3.2bn.

The UKGCVA conference is aimed at anyone with an interest in vouchers, gift card and stored value solutions, whether they are new to the market or highly experienced.

Topics to be covered in 2010 include an overview of the market with a particular focus on the retail landscape and a study of the prepaid card market.

There will also be a look into the wider global prepaid gifting market.

In a change from previous years, the mid-session will be split into two streams: one designed for delegates looking to enter the market for the first time, examining topics such as merchandising, selling online and selling in-store; and the other dedicated to a more in-depth discussion examining opportunities for the future with a look at business-to-business strategy and sales promotion before the two groups re-convene for a joint afternoon session.
