Utarget steps up European growth

Utarget has followed its launch in Germany with two new European offices in France and Italy.

Online advertising network Utarget continues to build its position in the rapidly growing online ad market with the opening today of new offices in France and Italy.

Frida Kvant has joined as sales manager of the French office in Paris having previously held the position of customer service manager at Hewlett Packard.

Massimo Vimini will take the role of sales manager of the Italian office in Milan.

Massimo most recently managed the development of online advertising in Surf and Shop SAGL in Switzerland.

"Utarget has experienced an enthusiastic response from European advertisers to our combination of high impact ad formats, wide network reach and precise targeting capabilities", commented Phil Cooper, Utarget CEO.

"The opening of offices France and Italy is an important step in our European expansion plans.

"We intend to build on this and the success of our German office, with the planned addition of a division in the Netherlands later this year".

Utarget has also appointed Andreas Wolfes as managing director of its German division.

He was most recently sales director at newtintion, the German new media tech company and will head up the expansion of the thriving Hamburg office.

"Utarget's success in Germany has laid the foundations for its current expansion into France and Italy", said Wolfes.

"With increasing interest in pan-European campaigns from major brands and rapid growth within local European markets, it's an exciting time to be in the industry and I'm looking forward to leading such a talented team as the company expands".
