Pioneering environmental expo calls for
support
We all realise that climate change is a real problem and needs to be addressed immediately, but what is the next step to take once you have realised that considerate living is your responsibility?
London Aware 08 is a groundbreaking environmental expo that is taking place at the city's prestigious Barbican Centre on the 10 and 11 May 2008 The first of its kind in central London, the event will bring together the business community and the general public to educate them on environmental issues and inspire them to make a positive change

London Aware 08 will involve hundreds of companies from across the UK showcasing products, services and advice to help you reduce your environmental impact.
The event will cover every area of sustainable living both at work and at home from advice on ethical investment, to the latest hybrid vehicles and renewable energy systems on the market.
Now its organisers are calling on support from businesses and offering them an opportunity to get involved with this groundbreaking event at a grassroots level.
Danny Carnegie, the man behind London Aware 08, believes the event will leave a lasting impression on the UK.
He said: "London Aware is designed with the masses in mind.
"We are not scientists, activists or radicals, just normal people wanting to help everyone make a real and necessary difference.
Climate change has rarely been out of the headlines in recent months; however, many people don't know or don't understand where they can make changes to reduce their environmental impact.
"For many London Aware 08 will be a starting point offering them the inspiration and information that they need to live more sustainably, without sacrificing lifestyle or comfort.
"We have already had an excellent response from exhibitors and now, we are encouraging businesses to provide sponsorship and support for the event to help put London Aware 08 firmly on the map".
London Aware 08 is the first in a series of national events that are being run by UK Aware, a social enterprise that is working to help market environmental alternatives to a wider audience.
