Digital agency twentysix Leeds has signed a ground-breaking deal to create the brand look and feel, digital interface and marketing communications for online wine retailer Bottled4U.

Bottled4U is a new global e-business that offers wine lovers the opportunity to buy value wines from chosen boutique vineyards around the world.

The agency has also been tasked with global brand development and creation of communications materials for use globally.

The agency has struck a unique deal with Bottled4U that involves a payment by results scheme and that provides a truly win-win relationship for both client and agency.

The site offers users rich content and interaction, including advice from Vincent Gasnier - the world's youngest master sommelier who advises on the cellars of The Houses of Parliament as well as those owned by celebrities; he is tipped to be the 'Jamie Oliver' of wine.

As well as access to Gasnier, including virtual wine-tasting sessions with him, the site offers hints and tips, news, food recommendations and recipes, competitions and a wine buddy, who will give help and advice on choosing wine for the right occasion, on-site and through SMS.

There will also be the facility for users to build a virtual wine cellar where users can record their favourite wines, tasting notes and more as well as special weekly deals and bin ends.

Gail Dudleston, managing director, twentysix, said: "Bottled4u has top-end wine supply with e-tail expertise and the team structure will enable the business to build an effective multinational business model that exposes the world wine market to a massive, consolidated, high-value, price-leading offer.

"It's a model we believe in, particularly as it is e-commerce, and we are very excited to be a part of it.

"Bottled4U is a thoroughly forward-thinking company, including the way it carries out business with suppliers like us.

"We aim to capture that spirit in the branding and communications we develop.

"We have every confidence in our abilities to deliver the results that will make this an excellent deal for all those involved".

Bottled4U CEO George Kenton said: "Good, effective, engaging communication will be vital to the success of our project so we had to make sure we were working with people who would be able to deliver on those fronts.

"Twentysix Leeds has a reputation for digital excellence and outstanding creativity and we were keen to get them on board.

"The way we have engaged twentysix Leeds is testament to our shared outlook and cutting-edge business styles".

Bottled4U is headed by Royal Doulton ex-General Manager of Global e-CRM and Direct Marketing George Kenton.

It launches in the UK and New Zealand in early April 2008.
