Twentysix Leeds creates Bayer Garden campaign

A Twentysix (London and Leeds) product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Apr 18, 2007

Digital agency twentysix Leeds has been appointed by garden care expert, Bayer Garden, to manage its online consumer and trade communications strategy.

A key part of the agency's brief is to redesign the Bayer Garden website, due to launch at the end of April.

The website redesign has been planned to raise awareness of Bayer Garden and its range of products and to help establish its reputation as a trustworthy brand in the eyes of consumers (gardeners) and trade customers (retailers).

Key features of the website include its structured pathways which streamline the user experience and enable customers to access relevant information quickly and easily.

There is also a high level of user interaction and exploration found for example in the Garden Doctor section, which allows consumers to pose questions to a Bayer Garden expert.

A range of product-focused microsites each delivering a successive "campaign of the month" will tackle seasonal issues such as slug infestation and weed growth and will be tailored to deliver content and product information in an interactive and engaging way.

The redesigned website is supported by online trade communications providing retail customers with regular and relevant support and advice and details of Bayer Garden products.

Jane Lawler, head of marketing, Bayer Garden, commented: "twentysix Leeds have worked closely with us to find the optimum solution to meet the needs of our consumers - both trade and general public - online.

"Their tenacity and strategic input will ensure we place our customers at the forefront of our marketing efforts.

"They are a strong partner to help us improve our digital strategy moving forward".

Gail Dudleston, managing director of twentysix Leeds, added: "This is a fantastic addition to our portfolio; developing a user-centric website and a digital strategy targeting consumers and trade to maximise online activity as part of Bayer's overall marketing strategy".

twentysix employs 100 people across two offices in Central London and Leeds and is one of the UK's largest and most successful digital communications agencies, combining specialist skills and years of experience across all aspects of digital communications, from online marketing to full web experience build.
