Travelshots adds destinations to photo portfolio

Specialist travel photolibrary Travelshots has recently added new destination shots of Marrakech in Morocco and new images from the Provence area in the south of France.

Travelshots' new French images include photos of Marseilles and the market town of Aix-en-Provence.

Also photographed on our recent shoot were many of the villages where lavender is grown and produced.

In June and July the brilliantly coloured fields of purple lavender look really stunning.

It is a good trip for a short holiday.

Photographer Peter Phipp suggests that you fly from Bournemouth to Marseilles with Ryanair and then rent a car.

It is only about one hour's drive to Aix-en-Provence, which is a great town for a three-day visit, then drive inland to Gordes to see the lavender fields.
