After a two-stage pitch process Trimedia UK has been appointed to handle all of the international media activity for Think London, the capital's inward investment agency.

The work will involve promoting London across Europe, North America, Asia, and include stakeholder relations work, with special projects taking place during and after the games in Beijing.

Trimedia replaces the incumbent, Hill and Knowlton and pitched against four other leading international agencies.

The six figure account is seen as one of the most important and prestigious FDI briefs in Europe.

Brendan Dineen, Think London's Director of Marketing and 2012, said: "We were looking for an agency with the international capability, FDI experience and enthusiasm to take the account forward.

"For us, Trimedia offered all these elements and we are delighted to be working with them as we prepare for this year's games in Beijing and as we look forward to 2012".

The account will be managed by Corporate Director Stephen Davie, who said: "London is the gateway for UK foreign investment and our international and sector strengths will allow us to add real value.

"Think London has some very stretching targets and we know that we can help deliver on them given our experience in this area".

The Trimedia team will include Yvonne Maher managing European media, Ravi Sunnak, India and Asia and Hannah Williams, China, supported by Chantel Gohil.
