Five agencies to promote donations for
NHSBT

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), the body responsible for blood and organ donations, has named its first agency roster.

Trimedia is one of five agencies that have made it on to the hotly contested roster, having previously delivered award-winning campaigns for both UK Transplant and the National Blood Service Trimedia will support NHSBT in its work in raising awareness of the ongoing need for donors and securing donor loyalty

The other agencies on the roster are Lawton, MandM Communications, Freshwater UK and Axon Communications.

Acting director of comms Maxine Walter and national comms manager Rakesh Vasishtha oversee the roster, which spans three years.

NHS Blood and Transplant was established as a special health authority in 2005 from the previously separate UK Transplant and The National Blood Service.

Its remit is to provide a reliable, efficient supply of blood, organs and associated services to the NHS.
