Smokefree North West appoints Trimedia
Public relations consultancy Trimedia has been appointed by Smokefree North West, a region-wide initiative aiming to provide children and young people with a tobacco free future.
The account, which was won as a result of a competitive proposal submission, will be run out of Trimedia's Manchester office and the team will lead the initial 10-week programme of community engagement, profile raising and advertising for Smokefree North West This will involve working with partners from the Department of Health, NHS organisations and other agencies involved in tobacco control and smoking reduction across the region

The win is the latest in a string of new projects for Trimedia's Manchester office, which was strengthened with the appointment of three new employees in August last year.
Since then, the team have boosted business by adding a number of new clients to the company's portfolio, the most recent being Keele University.
More than 160 staff are employed in Trimedia's 13 offices across the UK including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Southampton.
