TranslateMedia achieves BS accreditation

A TranslateMedia product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Oct 8, 2007

TranslateMedia, a London-based supplier of translation services, has become the fourth UK-based agency to be awarded British Standard BS EN 15038: 2006, for quality translation services.

"Our research found that existing translation providers often took too long to respond, and were generally not in touch with their clients' requirements and working methods", said TranslateMedia Managing Director Patrick Eve.

"We therefore positioned TranslateMedia to satisfy the requirements of business in the 21st century, while retaining the best practices of traditional translation companies".

TranslateMedia launched its web-based translation services platform to offer clients a fast, accurate and cost-effective translations service that can be accessed around the clock via customisable web-based portals.

Operations Manager Matt Train said: "Our technology has been developed for use by everyone in the translation process to facilitate a quick and efficient service.

"Past experiences led us to the belief that it was vital that the technology be as simple and user-friendly as possible for everyone involved, to eliminate any learning curve for clients and translators, while maintaining the required level of detail on the administrative side.

"Achieving, and in many cases surpassing, the requirements of the British Standard reflects the outstanding competence of our internal processes, as well as our commitment to providing a quality service, now and in the future".
