China travel promotion launches
A promotion designed to promote tourism to two of the most beautiful but undiscovered provinces in the South West of China is to be unveiled at the National Incentive Show.
The promotion, through Treasure Trove Promotions, will provide users with a huge opportunity to discover two fascinating regions, Yunnan and Guizhou, through a stunningly presented 'gift' package which includes voucher books offering discounts worth GBP554 against state recognised tourist attractions in these areas A sample book has been developed specifically for the show and will serve to demonstrate the quality that potential businesses wishing to offer an incentive of this type to its staff or customers can achieve
The package reflects the commitment that the Chinese government has made to bring these regions firmly onto the tourist trail.
The outer presentation case is hard backed, and screen-printed in a rich burgundy colour.
Inside the presentation folder are two, inlaid voucher books, one dedicated to Yunnan, the other to Guizhou.
On the inside front cover is a credit card sized pocket with a membership card.
The voucher booklets offer discounts to hundreds of attractions in Yunnan and Guizhou.
Yunnan is a region famed for its diverse resources and such stunning attractions as the snow-capped Mountains of Meili, widely referred to as 'Shangri-La' and with an elevation of 6740 metres.
The Nine Dragons Waterfall is a spectacular sight, and is the biggest waterfall in the world.
Guizhou, boasts a fascinating culture and a breathtaking landscape including the Maolan Karst Forest with mountains, water forests and caves, all in the same location and the Leigong Mountains, home to a number of protected species including black bears, macaques, musk deer and giant salamanders.
In order to take advantage of these special offers, the user must first register using the membership card supplied.
They then need to present their voucher booklets at each tourist attraction where each coupon used will be stamped.
The booklets can then be taken home again, placed back in the presentation case and kept as a holiday souvenir.
The coupons can be used any time between now and 2010.
Robin Bennett, Managing Director of Treasure Trove Promotions, which is to be the exclusive distributor of the books in the UK and Europe, is delighted to be working with the Chinese government on this initiative: "Being involved with a country that has the fastest growing economy in the world, is playing host to the 2008 Olympics and is set to see numbers of tourists rise annually by 10 per cent over the next three years is really exciting for us.
"We have no doubt that this unique travel promotion will provide a hugely tempting proposition to any businesses with an interest in China and South East Asia".
Further information about the book and the targeted regions, Yunnan and Guizhou can be found on the Treasure Trove Promotions website.
