The Portman Consultancy (TPC) has teamed up with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Trinity Mirror and Asda to promote the release of 'Dollhouse' on DVD.

To mark the release, TPC and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment are offering 'Daily Mirror' and 'Daily Record' readers the chance to claim a promotional DVD sampler featuring a triple bill of Fox TV programmes, created by Joss Whedon.

The DVD sampler features an episode of 'Dollhouse' from season one, alongside an episode of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel'.

The key aims of the promotion are to increase Trinity Mirror newspaper sales, and up-sell the 'Dollhouse' first season DVD to fans, while highlighting the broader 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment DVD catalogue.

The nationwide, retailer-exclusive promotion is available to 'Daily Mirror' readers in England and Wales and 'Daily Record' readers in Scotland.

Fans must purchase their paper from Asda to claim their DVD in-store.

This 'through-line' promotion is supported by in-paper, online and television advertising.

The promotion will launch in the 'Daily Mirror' on 18 September 2009 and in the Daily Record on 19 September 2009.
