Tomato Source wins most innovation award

Promotional product sourcing specialist Tomato Source has added a further trophy to its award cabinet by winning the Most Innovative Service Award at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition.

The awards were judged by Hugh Filman - Editor of Promotions and Incentives magazine, and Andrew Johnson - Director General of The Voucher Association.

Tomato Source Directors, Emma Beeson and Sophie Howes, were presented with the award by Simon Tilley, MD of the Exhibition, on 16 April at the exhibitors' party.

Speaking of the Award, Tilley said: "It's gratifying to see such a new, energetic and enthusiastic company gaining recognition in this way.

"There were 200 companies at the event and they were up against some seasoned exhibitors".

This is the second major award for Tomato Source in four months.

The company was named 'Best Newcomer' by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) in December 2007, and also named as runner-up in the BPMA's Most Innovative Product Award with the Green Seat.

In March, the Green Seat and Bio Poncho, both of which are exclusive to Tomato Source in the UK, were runners-up in the Printwear and Promotion magazine Most Innovative Product category, sponsored by the BPMA.

Speaking of Tomato Source's exhibit at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition and the Company's Award, Emma Beeson, Director of Tomato Source, said: "Exhibiting at the show has been a massive success for us - delivering both in terms of exposure and the quality of leads that have been generated.

"Winning the award was a welcomed surprise and I am so pleased that the efforts of the team here at Tomato Source are recognised".
