Touchdown to widen Washington DC appeal

Touchdown Brand Affinity Marketing is to create and implement a series of brand partnership campaigns for Washington DC Tourism to shift perceptions of the city.

Promoting the destination through new communication channels, Washington DC Tourism will target younger couples and single travellers in their mid-20s by profiling the city's dining, nightlife and shopping.

In addition, the city aims to target families by promoting its history, as well as the fun, great-value attractions available during the summer period.

Venessa Alexander from Washington DC, said: 'Brand affinity marketing will help our communications objectives by targeting new audiences interested in what the city has to offer.
