Torton designs purpose-built merchandising unit

A Torton Bodies product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Apr 29, 2010

Torton Bodies has designed and built a merchandising unit to enable Autoglym to showcase its professional car care and valeting range.

The compact 3m trailer is specially constructed to fit within tradeshow stand space of 5 x 5m.

When operational, the unit provides 5m of display area for the Autoglym range of products.

In the centre of the unit, a barcode reader linked to a television screen gives detailed product information.

The rear half of the trailer has a range of shelving and racking and incorporates a docking station for a small scooter.

A marquee that attaches to the front of the unit maximises the stand area and provides sufficient covered space to display a show car, which will be used as the basis for a product demonstration.

The display unit made its debut at Volksworld at Sandown Park on 1 April 2010.
