In the Spotlight sessions focus on social media
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has introduced a series of two-hour practical training sessions that focus specifically on a key marketing tool or channel.
Each of the In the Spotlight briefings will be geared around an important aspect of social media; the first event is set for 25 May 2010.
The series of events have been developed to be of immediate practical help for time-strapped business marketers in both the corporate and public sectors, and timed to suit busy schedules.
Delivered by course directors from the CIM's faculty, each two-hour briefing is accredited for two hours' Continuing Professional Development and packed with insight, advice and tips on the latest best practice and thinking.
On 25 May 2010 there will be a session entitled 'Facebook - Connect with Customers via the World's Most Popular Networking Site' held in central London.
On 8 June 2010 there will be a session entitled 'Youtube - Create Viral Impact for Your Brand', held in central London.
On 16 June 2010 there will be a session entitled 'Linkedin - Get Your Business Connected' held in central London.
On 22 June 2010 there will be a session entitled 'Blogging - Blogging in a Business Context Made Simple' held in central London.
On 24 June 2010 there will be a session entitled 'Twitter - Communicate with Customers in Real Time' held in central London.
