CIM details Marketing Experience event success
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has announced that more than 200 marketers from across the Thames Valley attended its Marketing Experience event in May 2009.
The event was held at the CIM's head office, Moor Hall, Cookham, in Berkshire.
Marketers from across the region attended eight free seminars over the two days, including sessions on marketing's vital role in a recession, how to engage customers online, and emerging trends in marketing.
Guest speakers included Richard Sedley, director of the cScape Customer Engagement Unit, who gave insight into how to use digital media to engage people, while Chris West, author of 'Marketing on a Beermat', was on-hand to sign copies of his book after a presentation.
With the economy in deep recession, the CIM said it is keen to help marketers in the region improve their marketing and use it more effectively in these troubled times.
