Institute unveils spring events calendar
The Chartered Institute of Marketing's (CIM's) spring events calendar begins with session on 'hard edge marketing' from Mark Stuart, head of research at the CIM.
He will discuss how business success can be achieved through a planned and direct approach to strategic decision making.
The event takes place at EEF, Engineers House in Clifton, Bristol on 21 January 2009.
In March, business owners and managers will have the opportunity to meet marketing experts for a one-to-one session to discuss their marketing challenges.
Professional Chartered Marketers and members from the CIM will be on hand to impart their valuable experience and knowledge in the industry.
The 'Meet a Mentor' evening takes places at The Grant Bradley, Bedminster on 25 March.
Simon Harrop from the Brand Sense Agency is to lead a workshop on multi-sensory branding at the Novotel Hotel, Bristol, 14 May.
The workshop will focus on how to appeal to the subconscious and emotional triggers that drive belief, loyalty and finally purchase.
All events start at 6pm.
