CIM event to tackle difficult marketing conditions
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has announced that it will hold its Annual National Conference at the Crown Plaza hotel in Birmingham on 11 November.
The conference, entitled Marketing in Challenging Times, is designed to be a fast-track educational day that gives businesses practical help to succeed in the turbulent economic environment.
The CIM conference will examine four key areas - digital marketing, sustainability, segmentation, and employee engagement - and will feature presentations from specialist marketing academics, supported and illustrated with real-life case studies from practitioners in each area.
It will demonstrate that by analysing, anticipating and addressing changes to their markets and customers, marketers can better prepare and guide their organisations through the considerable challenges facing UK businesses.
The event will be chaired by Evan Davis from Dragon's Den, and will include presentations by Karren Brady, PY Gerbeau, Dave Chaffney, John Grant, Lyndon Simkin and John Smythe among others.
