Coventry and CIM to host marketing forum

Coventry University Business School's Marketing and Advertising Applied Research Group has announced that the Marketing Thought Leaders Forum will take place on 18 November.

Co-sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and held at the Coventry University Technocentre, the forum will bring together a group of international marketing scholars for a one-day roundtable event.

It will discuss contemporary research directions in marketing and advertising and provide academic and practitioner delegates the opportunity to contribute to the formation of tomorrow's research agenda.

The event, to be chaired by Prof Amanda J Broderick from Coventry University Business School, will comprise three discussion panels led by marketing academics, including Prof Jan-Benedict Steenkamp from the University of North Carolina, Prof Hans Baumgartner from The Pennsylvania State University, and Prof Lisa Scheer, University of Missouri.

There is a participation fee of GBP125, which includes lunch and roundtable materials.

CIM members are eligible for a 10 per cent discount, and attendance will account for 5.5 hours of Continuing Professional Development.
