The Marketing Store wins Vodafone account
Vodafone UK has appointed The Marketing Store to handle its integrated retail account.
The Marketing Store won the account following a competitive pitch and will be responsible for all Vodafone's retail communications including above-the-line, direct and indirect point of sale, high street events and promotional literature.
Vodafone UK's Head of Channel Communications, Debra Goodwin, said: "This has been an intense process to find a partner who can deliver creative retail campaigns which will excite consumers about the Vodafone brand and drive footfall into our high street stores.
"We needed a retail marketing partner that could drive presence and sales through our consumer and business to business audiences.
"The Marketing Store demonstrated their capability at every level - creative, strategic and tactical - and have a determined team whose retail expertise is second to none".
Lisa Bonney, The Marketing Store's Head of Client Services, added: "Vodafone is at the forefront of the mobile sector, and we are delighted to be working with them.
"Our brief is to develop and deliver multichannel retail activation campaigns that will drive footfall.
"Our approach is to 'think differently' and proactively deliver opportunities for Vodafone to reach customers.
"Our remit begins in October in the lead-up to the crucial Christmas market".
