RPMI utilises Texthelp BrowseAloud software

A Texthelp Systems product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Dec 3, 2009

Pensions administrator RPMI has introduced BrowseAloud software from Texthelp to help vision-impaired users to navigate its websites.

The move comes as part of a programme of website redevelopment designed to give members, trustees and clients improved access to the information they need.

With BrowseAloud, a user can have the content of a website read aloud to them while being highlighted on screen, allowing users to listen to the content of the website and track each word as it is spoken.

BrowseAloud is said to provide valuable reading support to those with learning difficulties, dyslexia, low literacy levels, visual impairments and those who speak English as a second language.
