Technical Marketing has introduced Virtual News Office, an online database-driven service for the publication, archiving and search of news content that can be integrated with existing websites.

Technical Marketing has created an online database-driven service for the publication, archiving and search of news content that can be integrated with existing websites The Virtual News Office service allows any company to publish press releases, events diaries and white papers online without the need to call in web programming expertise to get the news on to their website

The service has already been successfully tested with several client sites already in operation.

The Virtual News Office is designed to cut through the problems many marketing departments and PR agencies experience in getting either in-house IT departments or external web design agencies to update news as and when it is ready to publish.

"People were telling us that to add a press release and images to the News section of their website could often be slow and expensive," said director David Brooks.

For others, the issues of cost and time in regularly updating the website or the expense of licensing a CMS system often prevented them from offering a current news facility at all.

The VNO service additionally provides RSS output and can be used in association with an html email news release option.
