Viral games drives traffic for
procurement portal
Supplier Solutions, the B2B procurement specialist, has launched a viral game to drive traffic to, and create awareness for, its recently launched procurement portal.
Supplier Solutions commissioned award-winning viral agency Tamba Internet to create the 20-level platform game after previously handing them the contract for the development of the suppliersolutions.co.uk website The game, Spy a Solution, fuses platform gameplay with puzzles, skill and strategy-based levels

Players who submit their details to the leaderboard are entered into a prize draw to win a Nintendo Wii.
In addition to developing the game, Tamba has also been responsible for the seeding.
Since launching, the game has already gained a top 10 position in the Viral Chart, with over 48,000 plays.
"As a new B2B portal, Supplier Solutions needed to choose their launch marketing carefully to maximise reach without breaking the bank," said Darren Langley, recently appointed Creative Director of Tamba Internet.
"Viral games like Spy a Solution get people talking about the brand and exploring the website without incurring the ongoing costs of alternative traffic generators such as pay-per-click".
Spy a Solution is Tamba's first game to be launched since it picked up the special Comic Relief Award at the NMA Effectiveness Awards in June.
Tamba Internet is a digital marketing agency specialising in time imperative projects.
It counts FMCG brands Carlsberg and Frosty Jack's, not-for-profit bpas (British Pregnancy Advisory Service) and power provider E.ON among its clients.
Tamba is also an approved BBC New Media Supplier.
The agency was founded in 1994 and works on projects including viral games, e-commerce solutions and content management systems for business and brands.
Tamba recently won the Comic Relief Red Nose Day Digital Challenge and special NMA Effectiveness Award.
Tamba was a winner of one of 10 Y Design Awards at the London Design Festival 2006.
