Th1ng's Sylvain Chomet pumps up Kwik Fit
ad
Acclaimed caricaturist and Oscar nominee Sylvain Chomet has created a TV commercial for Kwik Fit featuring the company's latest tyre promotion.
The agency was DDB and the exposure will be national TV in mid-February The commercial unveils Kwik Fit's new offering on tyres with simple product messaging in a 10-second spot

Animation studio Th1ng has created two TV commercials for the new Flora Becel Pro-activ campaign.
The 2D animation reflects previous series of Kwik Fit commercials created by th1ng and is to be reused for Kwik Fit's future promotional offers.
Using typical quirky humour the short advertisement is again set on Kwik Fit premises.
This time a group of customers gathers at the Kwik Fit garage waiting for the Kwik Fit man to unveil the company's new offer.
In a theatrical style, the curtain is pulled up to reveal promotional messages on the latest tyre products.
The crowd cheers and dances along to the drum fanfare from a nearby musician.
The ad prominently features the Kwik Fit logo with its distinctive branding elements.
It preserves the recognisable humour of the previous 2D commercials.
The main promotional message is 25 per cent off four Goodyear or Dunlop.
"We were briefed to come up with a fairly universal theme, which could be then reused and incorporated for any future Kwik Fit promotions; the turnaround was very intense and the whole work was completed in three weeks", said Sylvain Chomet.
The ad was entirely animated edited and composited in house at th1ng including all post production.
Dominic Buttimore, th1ng executive producer, added: "Th1ng has already designed a series of idents and commercials for Kwik Fit and we are very pleased that Sylvain successfully continues to sustain their very characteristic style".
