Summersault dominates Central CiB Awards

Employee, customer and business communications specialist Summersault won a remarkable 15 awards at the prestigious British Association of Communicators in Business Central Awards.

Summersault Communications' 15 awards included five Class Awards and the Tom Dawson Award for Best Overall Communication, the best of all winning entries, at the prestigious British Association of Communicators in Business Central Awards.

The CiB Awards are considered the UK's biggest and most prestigious business communication awards, recognising the very best in business communications.

Summersault Communications, which works throughout the UK for top FTSE 500 and public sector clients, won the Tom Dawson Award for 'The Link' which it produces for Group 4 Securicor.

The five publications published by Summersault which won categories were; 'Insideout' magazine produced for TUI UK - Best Magazine; Severn Trent Water's 'Talkabout' - Best Newsmagazine; Group 4 Securicor's 'The Link' - Best Newspaper; 'Talking Points' for Central Trains - Best Newsletter; and Christian Salvesen's 'The Hub'- Best New or Relaunched Publication.

In addition Summersault picked up five Awards of Excellence; for TUI UK's 'Inside Brand' - Business strategy/vision and values category; for McDonald's Restaurant's 'MDUK' - Newsmagazine category; for The Welsh Assembly Government's 'Seren' - Newspaper category; for Severn Trent Water's 'Talkabout' - New or Relaunched Publication; and for Booker Cash and Carry's 'Talking Shop' - External Publications.

The agency also received four Certificate of Merit Awards; for Birmingham Midshires Building Society's 'BM News' -The Magazine Award; Nuffield Hospitals 'A Passion for Care: The First 50 Years of Nuffield Hospitals' - Special Publications; Britannia Group's 'Home Truths' - New or Relaunched Publications; and for 'Connect' for Central Trains - External Publications.

Commenting on the awards success, Gail Franks, Managing Director of Summersault, said: "This is a new record haul for us; to win so many awards, including the top prize, at this highly competitive event is a truly fantastic achievement, testament to the skill, writing and professionalism of the Summersault team in continuing to produce superb communications".

The CiB Central Awards are open to any organisation based in the Midlands, any publication/strategy produced for a company that is based in the Midlands or where 51 per cent or more of the audience is Midlands based.
