Cost-per-call proves to be real money earner

A Stream20 product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Nov 15, 2007

Affiliates are maximising the earning potential from their entire audiences thanks to Thomson Directories' cost-per-call service, Calls You Control.

The service is being promoted by online marketing agency Stream:20, which has already enjoyed substantial success in recruiting affiliates to the service.

Brian Hillier, Managing Director, CCC Financial, said: "We have only been using this product for a short time, but we are amazed at the returns so far.

"This appears to be an excellent concept, especially for the affiliate market and it gives the choice to the applicant of either applying online using our web forms or now they can also choose to talk to someone in person instead".

Calls You Control (CYC) offers highly competitive commissions across a range of financial and insurance products.

The service is targeted at monetising those users comfortable researching on the net, but who still prefer making a call to close the deal.

Until now, affiliates have lost out on this revenue stream that more traditional affiliate programmes are unable to convert.

"We at CYC are excited to be working with Stream:20, who have already shown their capability to drive results in a very short period", said Adam Beamish, Managing Director, Calls You Control.

"We know that our service has phenomenal growth potential, and are confident that Stream:20 are the team to ensure we fully achieve that potential".

CYC's service works by providing a unique number to the affiliate site.

When called, this unique number generates a commission for the partner.

Commissions are quite generous with insurance calls averaging between GBP3.50 and GBP4.00 per call, and financial products generating between GBP15 and GBP20 per call.

The service currently offers financial products in the mortgages, loans and debt consolidation sectors, with insurance products range from car, motorcycle and commercial van to home insurance.

The service is highly flexible, allowing numbers to be targeted to niche, specialty audiences such as young, woman or performance car drivers.

Affiliates also enjoy real-time call tracking through a dedicated online portal, allowing them to monitor and optimise the performance of their service.

Matt Barker, Director, Stream:20, said: "Thomson Directories brings both the heritage, and more importantly technical expertise needed to exploit the full potential of the cost-per-call concept.

"For affiliates, the CYC service is an excellent way to monetise significant proportions of their unique visitors that would have otherwise remained untapped, while for merchants, it provides an exciting new revenue generating avenue to market.

"We at Stream:20 are excited to be working with CYC, promoting a service that is a true winner for both merchants and affiliates".
