The launch of Studio9KC by Trevor Rabey in Cornwall earlier this year provides a technical graphics facility to the region and beyond.

The aim of Studio9KC is simply to produce quality work to match each individual client's needs and at a realistic price.

The type of work undertaken includes technical illustrations, information graphics, schematic diagrams, company logos and more.

Founder Trevor Rabey completed a four-year technical illustration course at Cornwall Technical College England, back when illustrations were hand drawn using rapidograph pens and an airbrush.

He then worked with a major British aircraft company producing illustrations for maintenance and parts catalogues as well as coloured graphics for slide presentations and a German technical illustration agency producing work for Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen, a major minerals company and as a freelance illustrator.

He has now embraced the digital age and completes most of his work in Adobe Illustrator and Paint Shop Pro.

Studio9KC offers services including technical illustration; corporate logo design; web page graphics; CD and DVD cover graphics; maps; information graphics; and photo re-touching.
