The Motor Neurone Disease Association has just appointed not-for-profit branding consultancy Spencer du Bois to review its brand positioning.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland devoted to fighting the fatal motor neurone disease.

The charity, which was set up 29 years ago, funds and promotes research to bring about an end to MND.

Until they achieve a "World Free of MND", they do all that they can to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity.

The charity is now aiming to reposition itself to achieve a more clearly defined and consistent brand identity.

Max du Bois, executive Director at Spencer du Bois, said: "The work of the MND Association is critical in raising the profile of the disease, driving forward scientific research and standards of care.

"They have done a fantastic job and we are determined to help them push their work forward".

Donna Cresswell, Director of Communications at Motor Neurone Disease Association, said: "After a competitive four-way pitch we short-listed Spencer du Bois as the right consultancy with the best cultural fit and level of experience for our positioning needs".
