Lastminute.com has selected multi-channel marketing software and services from Smartfocus to drive proactive customer lifecycle management and reactive marketing based on website interactions.

Smartfocus will work with Lastminute to implement the marketing solution to increase customer insight and drive dynamic and personalised e-mail, SMS, social media and other targeted marketing campaigns.

Lastminute selected Smartfocus for the performance, scalability and usability of its software and integrated platform approach.

The retailer will benefit from a managed solution that enables marketers to compare and analyse customers by leisure interests, purchasing behaviour and history.

With increased customer insight, Lastminute will improve targeting of cross-sell and reactivation marketing, understand the lifetime value of affiliate partners and improve the profitability of its customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing activities.
