Skyline Performa fabric brings exhibit into focus

A Skyline Whitespace product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Dec 15, 2009

Skyline Whitespace has sponsored an event that showcases images taken with Nokia mobile phones from around the world, as well as completing the structure, graphics and installation of the exhibit.

The images were created by 'stitching' many separate mobile phone shots together to produce the panoramic images used on the display.

To produce the Truss Tension fabric panels, the company used a Gandinnovations Jeti-3300 dyesublimation printer that can print up to 120in wide fabric.

Skyline's Performa fabric was used, which is manufactured for the company, and provides benefits such as whiteness, stain resistance, saturated colour output, and fine surface to produce the sharp details that clients look for in a display fabric.

The 'Connected Worlds' exhibition was first shown at the Royal Albert Hall in 2007.

It will be shown again at the Terminal 5 departures lounge prior to a new exhibition 'N86 8MP Nokia Explore', featuring images shot on the Nokia N86 8MP.

The event is sponsored by BAA, Nokia and Skyline Whitespace.
