Siren offers low-cost tools to aid film
marketing
Film marketing company Siren Enterprises' is extending its service to offer a range of affordable tools to help battling producers, directors and distributors.
Film marketing company Siren Enterprises is holding a range of events on film marketing at the Hospital in Covent Garden that commences with a seminar on 'Film Marketing and Personal Marketing Effectiveness' on 28 March Along with tips on using traditional media, handling agencies, big or small and various 'slippery' new media, Siren has called in the UK's number one life coach to the film and TV industry, Lyn Burgess of The Magic Key Partnership
She advocates unorthodox but proven techniques such as creative visualisation along with more traditional activities like networking and creating a contacts database.
"It's not just about taking action, it's how you feel about taking action.' she said.
Siren is also pioneering The Marketing Surgery, a kind of speed marketing consultancy.
Stipulating that Siren receive briefs in advance, eight surgeries over two hours have been scheduled on 29 March, also at The Hospital.
Devon Dudgeon, partner at Siren, said: "Nobody has the time to endure long cat and mouse meetings in order to build a trust relationship and agree fees.
Often clients need a framework so they can prioritise their marketing planning and budgeting or solutions to specific problems.
We deliver this in 15 minutes for a flat fee." For film-makers with even less time on their hands Siren has created the first ever Direct Marketing Manual for Independent Film-makers.
This is the first of its kind and is only available in PDF format so it's updated as the marketing environment matures.
