Digital signage wows travel show visitors
Signola demonstrated its digital signage with real-time updates and tickers for exhibitors at the Spring 2007 Toronto Travel and Leisure show.
Signola, innovators of digital signage networks, enjoyed success at the Spring 2007 Toronto Travel and Leisure show recently held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
Signola operated networked digital signage with real-time updates and tickers that was made available to the exhibitors at the show; and Signola also provided customised in-booth digital signage for the show's largest exhibitor, Bel Air Travel.
A total of seven displays including five 50" plasma screens displayed a combination of static, flash and video messages from 45 unique advertisers at the show.
Guests were able to learn about specials, draws and the unique features of various destinations from the compelling and entertaining digital signage networks.
Signola worked closely with the exhibitors to help them correctly leverage the digital signage technology and provide rich, dynamic content inherent to the new medium.
The exhibitors welcomed the additional promotional opportunity and the show organisers were very pleased with the results.
"I was so impressed with Signola, I want to implement [digital signage] in all of our shows," said Jane Hills, Operations Manager of Premier Consumer Shows.
By using its existing hosted digital signage network servers, Signola was able to quickly and easily implement at the remote show location and then effectively manage real-time updates from any location.
"The show was a great opportunity for us to prove that we can leverage our networks for many purposes and locations beyond permanent retail installations," said Signola CEO Arie Kizel.
"We were thrilled to be able to partner with Premier Consumer Shows on this initiative and we look forward to expanding our service and offerings to them in the future.
"Our goal is to work closely with advertisers and organisers to maximise the potential of digital signage rather than just provide screens for them to use.".
