Senator promotional pen kills superbugs

A Senator product story

Senator has developed the Antibac promotional pen, a writing instrument that helps to prevent the spread of germs and reduce the risk of infection by harmful bacteria and viruses.

The pen is a certified superbug killer and is positioned as antibacterial to achieve British Standard BSEN 20645.

In addition, it has the active agent integrated into the plastic of the pen, rather than a superficial coating.

Senator said this means there is no leakage and, as the pen is also UV-proof and scratch and wear resistant, the antibacterial protection is guaranteed for the pen's entire lifetime.

In addition, the ink used to brand the pens with a company name or logo also includes the antibacterial compound to ensure that the antibacterial effect is not compromised.

The pen starts destroying bacteria immediately upon contact and constantly re-cleanses itself, thereby reducing the transference of bacteria and viruses.

It is said to be ideal for use in environments where pens change hands frequently, such as offices, hospitals, schools and catering establishments.
