Photoplus X3 can enhance marketing materials

Serif has launched Photoplus X3 Digital Studio, digital photo-editing software that offers small and medium-sized businesses high-end image-editing capabilities.

The company said Photoplus X3 will appeal to firms that are looking to enhance their marketing, presentation and web materials through exciting imagery, but are not looking to spend their budgets on professional photography or expensive software alternatives.

Among Photoplus X3's features are the ability to take existing professional artwork, including Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft HD Photo files, and edit and manipulate them.

Quickfix, Make-over and other task-focused studios offer quick and easy photo correction, from entry-level techniques like cropping, brightening and red-eye removal, to more powerful, eye-catching effects.

On-screen 'How to' guides, tutorials and free technical support are provided.

Photoplus X3's filter gallery gives users the opportunity to enhance images with effects including kaleidoscope and page curl, and resources such as the new Black and White Studio offer full control over the mood and style of greyscale images.
