Saviles Hall has reported that it has been selected by the Leeds Central Office of Information to host the 'Question the Cabinet' event.

Prime minister Gordon Brown brought his entire cabinet to Saviles Hall for the event, where he met with senior ministers for roundtable discussions and answered questions from members of the public about the economy.

Brown then went on from Saviles across the square to the Royal Armouries Museum in the afternoon to chair a historic meeting of the cabinet in the Wellington Suite.

Royal Armouries Museum and Saviles Hall have an international airport within 25 minutes and all other transport is either on the doorstep or within five minutes' walk.

Car parking for 1,650, hotel bedrooms for over 7,000 delegate members located in the city of Leeds and award winning chefs add to the attraction and critical mass of these venues for business tourism.
