Friday 15 June is new deadline for Rowan Best Business Innovation Award after a late surge in downloads from the awards website.

A surge in last-minute entries and downloads from the website has prompted sales and marketing specialists the Rowan group to announce an extension to the deadline for the prestigious Rowan Best Business Innovation Awards.

The closing date for entries is now close of business on Friday 15 June.

A total of £15,000 worth of hands-on support and advice is available for the three winners.

Entries are coming in from across the Midlands region from companies companies, both new and well-established, with exciting innovations to bring to market and further entries are being encouraged from start-ups and individuals and from established businesses that are looking to diversify into new innovative areas.

Due to the number of outstanding entries and the interest expressed through the helpline and the website, Rowan has agreed to extend the deadline this week.

"We know there are still some people who have yet to complete the entry forms but who have told us they wish to enter; we are keen to encourage innovations as much as possible, so we have been able to allow a few more days for these entries to arrive," said Chris Rattigan, Chair of the judging panel.
