Venue washrooms support sustainable
agenda
The washrooms at Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre are to be the envy of all washrooms with the installation of new, environmentally friendly Dyson Airblade hand dryers.
The dryers have been installed at The Lindley Hall, and are soon to be installed at The Lawrence Hall, just another move the RHH has undertaken in its pursuit for sustainability This follows the introduction of the recycling policy back in June, which stipulates that event organisers are only permitted to use floor coverings that are recyclable
The Dyson hand dryer uses up to 80 per cent less energy than other hand dryers, so it's better for the environment and it doesn't waste energy heating the air before blowing it out.
The new dryers have received great reviews: "People come out of the washrooms and comment on how much better they are compared to traditional dryers," said Rene Dee, Managing Director of the RHH.
"As well as drying hands more effectively, they have proved a more efficient solution and do not create the waste, mess and additional cost associated with paper towels".
